The world’s first climate-neutral hospital operates with 100% renewable energy using district energy and 154 geothermal boreholes. This project is one of Sweden’s largest healthcare initiatives, featuring a 600-bed hospital and a total of seven buildings. Additionally, the project includes green roofing, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and a waste separation system for 32 different types of hospital operational waste. 

Building Information Modeling (BIM) tracked all sustainability documentation for the materials installed.

350,000 sq.ft.

The Southeast Toyota Distributors automotive processing facility in Commerce, Georgia, is a modern 12 building complex that covers 350,000 square feet on a 90-acre site. Completed in 2020, this facility features numerous sustainable elements, including LED lighting, low-flow plumbing fixtures, high-mounted glass windows for maximizing natural light, and water retention ponds for natural stormwater filtration and 3,600 solar PV.  These environmentally friendly features have helped the facility achieve LEED certification, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.

The facility processes over 95,000 vehicles annually and offers various amenities, including a health and wellness center, a nature trail, an expanded café, and a community meeting area.

83,000 sq.ft.

Skanska’s new head office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, is one of the greenest office buildings in the Nordic region. It covers 83,500 square meters and focuses on environmental sustainability. The building includes a unique cooling system that makes it self-sufficient, rooftop beehives, carpool options, and bike parking with showers. Designed for flexibility and interaction, it accommodates 1,100 employees. 

The office received Platinum certification under the LEED system and Certified under the Swedish green building standard, Miljobyggnad. Nordea, which occupies half of the building, also earned Platinum certification for its office space.
